You’ll discover that the AeroPress™ is an entirely new one-cup, or single serve, coffee that tastes great. Although there are similarities to French-press coffee, the higher amount of pressure results in a greater extraction with the AeroPress™ and this insures that you are getting the maximum from the coffee you are using. Estimated time to making your cup of coffee is 30 seconds and the press time is about 20 seconds.

First you start by mixing the coffee and water and when you begin applying pressure the air forces the mix through a micro filter and the resulting brew is great tasting coffee. To make coffee with the AeroPress™ you put a filter on the bottom and put the AeroPress™ on top of your coffee cup. You then put a scoop of coffee in the chamber and pour in the amount of hot water you want in the chamber.

Stir the mix up the contents and place the plunger on top. After waiting twenty seconds for the coffee and water to mix, push very slowly to extract the coffee into your cup. Take off the plunger and it is ready to drink. You can pop out the grounds into the trash and everything is plastic so you can quickly wash the parts.

There are many reasons why AeroPress™ coffee tastes so good. The total immersion of the grounds in the water results in fast extraction of flavor and the moderate temperature creates a smoother brew. Because of the short brew time and low temperatures the coffee is less acidic than drip brew coffee and most would say that it tastes better.
